Until the Sun
Under Another Sun ~ Philip Brent Harris

Wednesday morning, 2:00 am,
as I think, write, wait for sleep
to take me briefly into the land
beyond all space, distance and
time, where anything happens
that I can dream, if only I can
can remember my adventures.
And, as strange as it may seem
to some, whatever can happen
did, as I viewed eyelid movies,
all night long. Left behind until
the sun will next go down and
I’ll shut my eyes to sleep again.
