Do you worry, do you fear
people who are born
far away from here?
I suggest we both look closer
to home and what goes where.
We’ve been duped
by powerful rich fools
and our backs are stooped;
we let them
make us their tools.
Whether we end when
we die or we go on
forever; how we’re ruled
only lasts so long.
Only we choose how
we want to live;
it’s up to us now,
what we take or give.
Monarchy, democracy,
or our current oligarchy,
or any other system
you can devise or name,
all start and end the same,
so it’s ultimately malarkey.
They say we’re born alone
and die alone, but I swear
it isn’t so, take the dare,
please don’t moan.
Whatever you need
or have, will be there
now or next time.
Act with love, truly care
and you will ease our climb.
