Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,  Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

~~~~~

All day long, we fought and wrestled.
All night long, we talked and prayed.
Drank deep, and broke all the vessels,
not a one would quit, thus we stayed.

In the end, we’d each got in our licks,
blows, kisses which bruised, battered.
Victory and loss laid out in tock-ticks.
Hoped how we lived all that mattered.
