to learn what I will find. Will
I mind my business, mind my
manners? Like hanging banners
of my transgressions for the world
to see, to admire? How I’m mired in
the depths of the fountain I found
as I reached the bottom of the stair.
Should I gather coins, splash about,
share the joy I find in this silliness?
