Softly I cry out into the dark void.
The vast expanse of space and time.
Knowing I may stop on any world,
enjoy the sun and people I find there.
Unaware they appear different than
the people I’ve met and lived among,
I step away. Amazed and shattered
by the wondrous reality of creation.
