The couple walks along hand-in-hand.
No words pass between them or must.
Just a soft touch, a gently squeeze says,
I’m here with you, here for you, always.
They let go, walk on, still side-by-side,
still silent. Except a twinkling glance,
a smile. They’ve had this conversation
before. It’s love, and requires no words.
