Tell everyone that you know
to tell everyone they know.
Pass the word. Tell the tale
no one will believe, but try!
Spread it through the streets
and over backyard fences.
“What is it?” you ask. Really,
don’t you know? Clean your
ears. Better, scrub your brain.
Try again to hear the strain, the
shouted message the newies’ll
cry. Don’t miss it. If you do,
it will find you soon, anyway.|
Peace forever. That’s the way.
