People Over Politics, World Over Wealth

I’m up and ready, though still waiting,
prepared, in fact, eagerly anticipating.
Until the internet raised its ugly head.
It’s an email stalking my daily bread.

Nigerian prince, hacker, lady banker,
do they think me a fool or a wanker?
Trolls prey on the old, poor, and weak
Such sleaze makes my life feel bleak,

In general; my life’s not that terrible.
There shit makes life feel unbearable.
Need to change hardly needs stating;
and like all people, I’m still waiting.
