Like some presents, where we smile
weakly, all the while thinking WTF.
Do we choose what we receive or
whatever paths we decide to take?
Despite the straightness, strangeness
of the road we travel  now, we’ll
Walk every other path, reap our due
measure of all of life’s largess. No
matter how minimal it may seem.
