I would climb upon the stars
So I might hear your thoughts.
Though I am driving into bars,
while jumping over draughts.
I am hunting beneath the grass.
I wonder which side I am on?
If it is all the same, I will pass
the plate my name’s gilded upon.
Since nothing can be explained,
when no one will admit their sin
is ever the cover charge retained.
So we walk across the oceans wide,
in seven league boots on seven seas.
If you will accept what you abide,
you will likely you drink the lees.
