Rain falling softly, silencing the land.
No voices, no sound, animal or human.
Neither analog, digital, nor replication
of our world, large in its smallest part.
Each raindrop, ripple flowing forth into
the stream of atoms, electrons, protons
and neutrons, diffusing within the vast
ocean of space/time, unto the far shore.
