Pink Wave ~ Philip Brent Harris

The lonely bard moves from town to town
and sings lonely songs which sound joyful.
Joy a better coin for food than melancholy,
as we search for ourselves, our grand folly.

The ambient sound of our lives is too loud
and filled with nonsense and discord. The
competing cries of they who forever want
more; they are glutted, yet never satisfied.

Listen to the time that came before, comes
after, all with and without our permission.
Step past the cacophony, realize harmony.
Balance the scales, if only in your world.

When you see the feelings upon the faces
arrayed before you, all colors, and races,
you put the lie to the trope of separation.
Will it require harsh words, sweet spells?

Magic enough you can laugh and can cry.
Know joy and sorrow and the reason why.
Who would you tell and how, I am wrong?
Convince me all don’t sing the same song.

Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength,

Unite the World
