I have heard the moral sophistry
where you must decide who will die.
About the fabled switchable trolley
which is aimed at one or five people.
You are told you may only decide
who will be hit if you pull the switch.
The test being about the greater good.
It ignores a choice of personal sacrifice
where you stop the tram bodily instead.
Thus, six will live and only one die.
Since you are tasked with choosing,
this comes down to who you believe
you are versus who you say you are.
