So agile, fast and supple
Boy and master play guitar
Strumming the world
Into being, new life
Strokes drawn from a pallet
Mimicked by the sound box
How far we have come
How distant it seems
Our goal, god, mere dreams
Mere puffs of smoke
Fired in a pipe
Filled and tamped
Our imagination’s blend
Igniting, inhaling what ifs
Exhaling possibility
Magical, ethereal, yet
Weighted with hope
Freed or forgotten
