Peace is Purpose, Nonviolence is Strength, 
Diversity is Unity, Empathy is Empowerment

Reaching

Between the spaces, between the spaces,
where we forget to seek deity, ourselves.
Fighting our fear, and our anger,
feeding our needs and assumptions;
reaching constantly for the golden ring,
for power to remake our own existence,
with no thought to the cosmic harmony.
Our one string, one voice, one instrument
Out of tune and distorting reality.
So low, pain, terror, degradation,
Dominating everything,
silencing the cosmos.
