Holes appear in the sky. Everyone sees them.
Bright stars and night shine through. Strange
faces peer over the edges, watch us live our
daily lives. Most of us continue as we began.
Though, for a time, we were obsessed by the
holes, they rapidly frayed from our concerns.
Who can spend all their time looking at the
sky, caring about what it means? The same is
true of the night sky. When the holes and the
clouds of day appear so rapidly all we do is
quickly discount them? So none notices the
beings climbing into our world over the lips
of the holes. Even when they land right in
front of us, we walk through them as if they
do not exist. Strange constructs have filled
our days for so long, we simply ignore them.
